William has served in full-time ministry for 25 years as a church planter, pastor, and District Superintendent in the United Methodist Church. William currently serves as the Southeast Jurisdiction New Church Strategist for the United Methodist Church and his portfolio includes coaching, developing assessment processes for church planters, consulting with Annual Conferences regional planting strategies and African American church planting. William has planted two churches and has served as a catalytic leader in church planting his entire ministry.
William T. Chaney Jr. has been coaching and training leaders in churches, business and nonprofit organizations with over 500 coaching hours since 2005. William is a CliftonStrengths Certified Coach. DISC facilitator, and an International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach.
