Registration for LEAD 2017 is Now Open

by | Sep 2, 2016

Registration for LEAD 2017 is now open! From January 22-25 the LEAD conference will converge in Charlotte, North Carolina for it’s sixth incarnation. LEAD has been and continues to be an experiment.  The 8-18 minute “TED-Style” talks remain while the rest of the conference continues to change based on feedback from our attendees. We’ve dropped some things, improved some things, and are bringing some things back.

In addition to the talks, this year’s conference will include worship, an opening mixer, immersions to local innovative ministries and non-profits, networking opportunities, and a closing reception. There is still more content and information to be released in the coming weeks and months. Look for our speaker lineup to be released around the beginning of October.

Although LEAD brings together dynamic speakers, interactive breakouts, and wonderful learning opportunities, the core content of the conference comes from you. This conference seeks to create interaction, dialogue, and relationships. The talks do not end when the speaker steps off the LEAD stage but continue through meal conversations, networking, and through both planned and unplanned opportunities for interaction throughout the conference. The strength of the conference comes from all of those who attend, not just those who are invited speakers. To that end, even the planning team and invited speakers pay for their own travel and registration. They are fully invested participants in the conference.

The LEAD Conference creates a space where leaders can come together to share their failures, successes, ideas, and dreams. We’ll supply the space, the food, and the hotel, but we need you. We need your participation, your ideas, your challenges, your perspectives, and your stories. So register now before it’s too late! Registration will close once we reach 85 people. See you in Charlotte.
