Since July, 2017, Owen Ross has been the Director for The Center for Church Development of the North Texas Conference of The UMC. Prior to this, Dr. Ross served as the founding pastor of La Fundición de Cristo/Christ’s Foundry United Methodist Mission. From knocking on doors in Spring 2002, Christ’s Foundry grew to become the largest Spanish-language congregation in United Methodism. Dr. Ross’ passion is to reconnect the church with holistic ministry with the poor as modeled by Christ and the earliest Methodists.
