In the United Methodist Church, we have a pattern of waiting until it’s too late to have difficult conversations. Lorrin Radzik takes to the LEAD stage to offer her talk titled “Resurrection Hope: Church Closure and a Faithful Future.” In her talk, she shares how God still calls and equips us to be courageous leaders, even when the church isn’t quite ready to embrace it. When the change requires the conclusion of ministry, a resurrection hope transforms us and makes us part of God’s continuing story in the world.
