About Lindsey
I’m an openly gay ordained pastor in the California-Nevada Annual Conference. Originally from Western Pennsylvania, I attending college in Washington, DC, before serving as a young adult missionary with GBGM in Mindanao, Philippines in 2007-2008. When I came back to the US, I moved to Berkeley, CA, to attend seminary. I have worked as a caregiver, construction worker, community organizer, journalist, and janitor. Being a pastor is largely a combination of all of these things. For the past six years, I have served in Santa Rosa, a mid-sized city very much outside of the Bay Area. Much of my ministry centers on issues related to homelessness, affordable housing, and immigration.
