About Andy
I began exploring contemplative spirituality in 2013 and helped to form and lead the Patmos Community in Seattle’s University District until 2016. Since then, I’ve worked with numerous faith communities throughout the Seattle and Tacoma areas, offering workshops on contemplative prayer, leadership development, and community transformation. In addition to working with local faith communities, I have also served as a High School teacher for the last three years, working in a project-based learning school in Federal Way. Drawing on both my professional experience as a teacher and my spiritual work with local communities, I am currently serving High School students in Redmond as the Coordinator for Youth and Community Engagement at Redmond United Methodist Church.
