Kimberly Pope-Seiberling is a Korean adoptee who was raised in a family of adoptees. Despite a loving and caring home, family members suffered tragedy and loss. These experiences awakened questions about how churches serve vulnerable children. Kim is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. She holds a Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary, where she was awarded a Beeson Scholarship. Her doctoral dissertation is a study on how local churches can fill gaps in domestic orphan care. Kim is wife to Eric Seiberling and mother to Lindsey, a junior in college. Kim enjoys travel, cooking, and snuggling with Jackson the pug.
