Jordan McKenzie serves as Associate Pastor of Belmont UMC in Dayton, Ohio. A native Buckeye, he is passionate about the work of leadership, community development, and discovering creative new ways of being the church. He has one son with his wife, Emma, who is a special education teacher. Jordan is a graduate of United Theological Seminary and Wright State University.
As Christians today, it seems we are at our most hopeless, pessimistic moment. We are vulnerable and fragile. As the culture changes around us, many of us are anxious. Many of us believe that the Church is dying. If we’re honest, many of us feel just like the disciples did when Jesus was crucified.
