Courtney McHill is the Pastor at Rose City Park UMC in Portland, OR. She is passionate about working with the homeless and the church she serves is hosting up to 25 houseless veterans per night. Courtney is also currently working with the nonprofit The Open Table on an anti-poverty initiative that helps churches support young adults who have aged out of the foster care system. During her career she has worked with three congregations through major change and shifts in systems. Courtney loves coffee, live music and people. She has two little dogs and lives with her wife in the parsonage next door to the church.
Courtney’s talk at LEAD 2017 will ask the question “How do we continue to create live giving versions of the gospel while treading through waters of conflict?”
The LEAD Conference creates a space where leaders can come together to share their failures, successes, ideas, and dreams. We’ll supply the space, the food, and the hotel, but we need you. We need your participation, your ideas, your challenges, your perspectives, and your stories. So register now before it’s too late! Registration will close once we reach 85 people.
